Watch Me Disappear Brown’s novel about a missing woman is addictive, and its Berkeley setting is delightfully authentic. The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. Dear Cyborgs Farrar, Straus and Giroux; 166 pages; $14 paperback Lim’s science fiction volume is stuffed with more complex ideas than many books three times its size.
