Outside Lands 2017: A Tribe Called Quest set postponed till Saturday

[...] the legendary hip-hop crew is set to play the festival at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12 on the Twin Peaks stage. The news came midway through the first day of Outside Lands on Friday, via an alert that went out to festivalgoers that stated “due to unforeseen travel issues, A Tribe Called Quest is not performing tonight.” Q-Tip and Jarobi White — two of the three remaining members of the group that formed in New York back in 1985 — were originally scheduled to hit the Lands End stage at 6:15 p.m. Friday. The uber danceable Swedish electronic group Little Dragon is now set to perform on Lands End during that slot tonight, with Grammy-winning producer RAC moving up the schedule and onto the main stage at 5 p.m. The Portuguese DJ doubles down and is also slated to close out the Panhandle stage at 7:50 p.m.
