Uber exec drops off, Samsung’s Bixby debuts, and ‘Beauty’ bows

The most popular destination for Uber seems to be the exit doors at headquarters. The latest top leader to leave is Brian McClendon, a former Google Maps chief who joined the ride-hailing company two years ago to oversee its mapping efforts. McClendon is moving back to his native Kansas to enter politics. Mashable reports that Bixby will differ from other voice services by making phone features easier to use, rather than retrieving information from the Web or delivering news alerts.
